Pollution Control Vessels
Since the 1980s Keel Marine Ltd has been involved in Pollution Control Vessels, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in the design and operation of this type of vessel. The design requirements for these vessels have resulted in bespoke arrangements to suit specific applications and operators. The designs have included both Monohull and Multihull vessels.
We continue to design and develop vessels to cover the wide field of pollution control, collection and removal including:
- Oil Recovery & Collection
- CSO Debris Removal
- Debris Collectors
- Passive Debris Removal
A substantial amount of this work has been in collaboration with Pollution Control Equipment providers enabling the delivery of complete vessels designed to meet our client's requirements and the environmental risks to be countered.
Keel Marine has designed Craft for operation in a variety of worldwide environments including Ports, Estuaries, Harbours, Rivers, Protected Waterways as well as Refineries. Where appropriate, the designs are true multi-purpose vessels allowing them to operate successfully as workboats fully utilising the large free deck area and integral crane.
